Freight
Plan ahead to avoid inflated shipping charges. Poor planning can result in last-minute shipping of your booth--and hundreds of dollars spent needlessly. The show management company can accept shipments many weeks in advance. Use the opportunity to send your booth on the "slow boat," which is more economical. Use their provided labels. The expo typically provides labels that show your booth number and the dates they will accept your shipment. This will help ensure that your crates are ready to go when it's time to set up. Use a freight forwarder. If you exhibit at multiple shows, you can save money by contracting a "freight forwarder" to send your booth from one show to the next, and even warehouse it in between. The alternative is sending the booth back to your facility after each show. Go To Next Section |
